HDS Architecture has redesigned the Mount Auburn Hospital Emergency Department (ED) to expand emergency services and implement a new rapid care delivery process. The new space will reduce wait times by up to 40%, provide patients with more comfort and privacy and include specialized pediatric rooms. When completed, the Emergency Department will offer improved access, greater security and a fast-tracking system that will get patients evaluated and treated quickly and safely.

The renovation and expansion project for Beth Israel Lahey Health, Mount Auburn Hospital is being phased over a three year period while maintaining uninterrupted emergency services.
